Two Worlds. One dad. 

My name is Jason Stinson and I'm a Canadian who has been living in Tallinn, Estonia off and on for over a year. My Estonian wife and I just had a beautiful daughter and I started this blog to document the amazing absurdities - and surreal wonders - of raising a child borne of two cultures. This blog is as much about our experiences as new parents as it is about how we deal with the differences of each other's country. 

​As a result, much of the blog will focus on my observations and opinions on Estonian culture. My girlfriend says Estonians like to have foreigners write about them. Hopefully an outsider's perspectives will entertain and not enrage. I don't need any repressed naked Viking-rage coming at me in sauna - I'm awkward enough there already.  

I'm a proud e-resident of Estonia and I'm looking forward to making this stunning and ethereal Country my second home. I love beer at Olde Hansa, coffee-flavoured yogurt, Taxify, robot lawnmowers, trampolines and leaping over fires. Apparently I'm a Soovana. But the best thing I love about Estonia is that The A-team still plays on TV almost every day.
